WOOOOHOO!! Firstly: PSI stands at 26, 7pm local time. =)) Been raining lately, though not much runnng outdoors, but it brought the haze down. So yeapz, hopefully i can now concentrate on training for my half marathon without much of a worry. Was talking to edwin after training yest: 5 more weeks b4 race dae. DAMN!! ITS SUPPPPPPERRR NEAR LAR!!! And i onli can do a 12 km run at 1 shot mann..9k short of actual mann..=(
Monday: 10k Rifle range run
Wednesday: 3k Indoor tempo run, 3.2k track run.

Well well, as u can see the result of my trainings this week as it stands. NEED TO BUCK UP!!
May Friday be a nice cool and sunny day! =) OH Yea, my new pair of shoes( Saucony Grid Phoenix), i be wearing them to race come this december 3rd. =P

NIKE AIR SHOURI, hope Queensway hav my size mann..Hope Gabriel brings me gd news within these few days. =)

TRAINING:

Monday: 5.8KM campus run

Wednesday: 7.1KM campus run

Thursday: 12KM flat road run


Hmm.. 5.8 + 7.1 + 12 = 24.9Km!! =)
Need to run more mann..haha!!


Well well, jus finished talking to my TJc fren. Was reading thru her personal statement b4 she sends it to the universities in UK for her application to study there. And so we jus chatted, if she gets in.. She be gone for 4 years..Hmm..means she still be there even after i complete my NS. But nvm, respect her aspirations, jus like myself wanting to become a qualifed coach liddat, the same kind of mentality. Even though u will never ever get to see this post( Cuz u dunno my blog add.), i will encourage u no matter wad route u will end up taking..cuz i think thats all i can do as a fren and i realli do hope that u would be accepted into any one of those unis' of ur choice. Knowing that u are happy and all, i be contented too i guess. =) No doubt i will definitely miss all the smses, but thankfully theres' still msn..though i noe it be rare..since we live in diff time zones..ah!! still got emails hor..haha!! =) WOnder if u will even read them?haha. In abt one mth's time u be sitting for ur A levels, i noe u will do well so fret not abt the negative things yea? JiaYou!! =) Think i hav run of things to say, so yea..shall end here then.

Is it wise for guys to get into a relationship jus b4 they are due for NS( national service)? My cousin told me online jus now: its better not to. Funny thing is, i share the same sentiments, i feel that its bound not to last, unless and only unless the ger realli realli hav super strong feelings for this guy. So strong, she's willing to stand by her man thru his Ns days..Or am i just being too negative abt ever getting a gf?I dunno mann. Was talking to one of my frens on msn too, kind of did venture into this topic too. Heres what the person replied me( one of the many replies): "i dun really like the act of putting ur life on hold just because u hafto match the other person's pace." Kind of a strong answer from the person rite? Haha, it did make me sit up and think too..Wow, maybe hoping to get attached jus got harder mann..=( Though i noe that u had a bad experience b4, so i wun blame u for saying such a thing.=)
Alrite, enough of all the emo emo things liao..Back to trainings. =)
Well well, had a chat with sham, my long dist coach, on friday nite..Was discussing abt the upcoming Singapore Marathon 2006. Heard quite a fair bit abt the trainings for my half marathon, the dos' and don'ts etc..Jus totally feels like how i felt when i first started out as a x ocuntry runner preparing for national x country championships. How time flies. Its been 5 yrs. Yes, 5 whole years since i started out. So much fond memories, so many wonderful pple i met along this path. Whuever u are, thanks for the wonderful memories!! =) And to the many more races that i will conquer: Here i come mann..Jus bring it!!! =)

Finally!! I'm finally adding a new entry..=) Super lazy me, haha. Well well, lets drop straight to the point then: IVP 2006 Day 2. Hmm..i must say Np din do as well as we did in day 1 mann..(shall not reveal the results here, kind of no need to anyway) To any of my team mates reading this post: DUN GIV UP GUYS!! WE STILL ARE THE BEST POLY, LETS WORK OUR HARDEST THIS COMING SATURDAY AND MAKE SURE WE EMERGE AS THE BEST POLY, OK? 4x100, 4x400; Men's & Ladies teams: The prospect of getting medals are high, so we realli got to hav confidence in ourselves, stay focused and be at ur sharpest. Jiayou!! =)) Din manage to get any proper pictures this time( i was preparignfor my 800m that dae), well..all i can say is i did try my best in that race..just that i'm not gd enough. So no regrets. haha.
Monday, 18th Sept 2006:
Todae, Coach made us do 4x400 Full RUN(time trial). Not too bad i must say, we did abt 3:37 for our first set.=) haha..but i noe we can do better on race day.
Wednesday, 20th Sept 2006:
Todae, Coach decided to concentrate 4x100..which meant that all we ran was 100 the whoel time..haha..i did pacing for the ger's team mainly..cuz i cannot run with guys lar..not fast enough!! haha =D
Hmm..i dunno wad else to write abt liao lei. OH, VPP SUCKS BIG TIME. I HATE VPP.
Anyway..think thats all for now.

Backtrack to 9th September 2006: Saturday, Day 1 IVP 2006.
Location: Bukit Gombak Stadium.

Finally!! The day has come. The day where Ngee Ann Polytechnic fight on that ever so cruel track for top honours once again. WELL DONE GUYS!! All of us did extremely well(for DAy 1) i must say. Jerald, Jinghui, Felicia, Xiuling, Lindi, Raihan, Woan Yi, Yusman, Eugene, Chris, Kanglun, Gabriel, Jeff, Edwin, Eugene Pek, Terence, Raymond, Johnathan, Rachel, Bobbie, matthew and herman!!!( HOPE i din miss out anyone =X) Kudos to all the medalists mann!!!
Jerald: Mens' 400m Hurdles [Silver] 58.22 s
JingHui: Ladies' 400m Hurdles [Bronze]
Terence: Mens' High Jump [Gold]

For Now, Ngee Ann is currently in 5TH place, behind the Universities and ITE i presume.
But...its only the beginning..I believe in my team, stepping up to the plate would be me next, this coming saturday. I noe i can do it, jus stay relaxed, focused, and strike at the appropriate moment.
My Target: 2:15 (Hopefully 8th place at least)

I'M SO PROUD TO BE PART OF THIS TEAM!!! =))
